The purpose of a sleeping bag is to protect and keep the body warm while we sleep inside a tent or in relatively colder temperatures. Very often people choose to save money on this product in order to invest more in other equipment, such as the tent, mistakenly believing that it is the tent itself that does most of the work in maintaining the right body temperature.
On the contrary, while the tent mainly protects us from rain and wind, without a high-quality sleeping bag we risk sleeping poorly and/or feeling too cold. With our real goose down sleeping bags, this will not happen.
It can also be used as a blanket, thanks to the zip closure that can be fully opened, and it can be turned into a double sleeping bag by joining it to another one of the same type.
